Fun fact 4/14/2016

It has been discovered that the Saharan silver ant, or Cataglyphis bombycina, can withstand 128° Fahrenheit temperatures with the help of tiny, reflective, silver hairs. They leave their dens at the hottest part of the day to avoid predators with the help of their hair which blocks incoming sunlight and dissipates thermal radiation upon heating.
