Fun fact 4/9/2016

World-renowned children’s book author Roald Dahl (Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) crash landed his fighter plane during the Second World War in Libya at age 24 and suffered serious head injuries! It is believed that, while he was creative before the crash, this glimpse of death inspired his amazing works. He drew upon his experience as a pilot in several books including James and the Giant Peach with the flying peach.
